The president of Terras d’ossa recently lead a planned visit to an area of private land in the Serra d’ossa, with a view to preparing the reforestation campaign for 2025, but it ended up being much more than just a visit, in the company of João Manuel Ribeiro.

We also had the opportunity to continue our fight against invasive tree species like the Mimosa (Acácia dealbata), to discover forgotten nooks and crannies hidden in the mountains, gaze down upon the village from another perspective and identify species such as the pointy-snouted frog (Discoglossus galganoi) and hooded snake (Macroprotodon brevis).

All in all it was a good day spent in the mountains!
